Re: Benrahma Signed
We spent 40 million on Benrahma & Bowen to score goals and neither have done that on a regular basis thus far or at all in Benrahma’s case.

I don’t really watch a lot of championship football but what positions and formations did they play for Brentford & Hull?

I appreciate it’s a Jump from the Championship to the Premiership but are we playing to their strengths?

Yes they were all shit, yet Benrahma is to blame..

Re: Benrahma Signed
After looking bright against Palace he was awful today. Poor over hit passes, lost the ball repeatedly when dribbling or gave it away cheap even in our own half. Surprised he wasn't taken off to be honest.
There is more to come from him you would hope but this today was not what we paid the money for - not that I think he is worth what we paid anyway.
Have to say expensive signings Fornals and Bowen were equally disappointing today.

Benrahma the weak link.. They were all weak links, Antonio was just as bad, Bowen was worse..

Why pick any player out after a complete shit team performance

I’m struggling to see why so many people rate Benrahma or think he’ll come good? Looks like a complete waste of 25m to me.

Careful talking like that. You'll have fraser after you.

Benrahma was once again the weak link. Numerous times in the first half he gave the ball away cheaply overhitting balls to Antonio (I assume they were intended for Antonio, it is hard to tell as they were so woefully inaccurate).

He was completely anonymous in the second half. Thirteen games without a goal in the Premier League and fifteen without a goal in all competitions. Championship player.

Re: Benrahma Signed
Benrahma has taken a while to get used to the pace and physicality (work rate) of the Premier League but is now starting to get up to speed and hitting his stride.
I think he will prove to be an excellent purchase.

When you look at the clubs he played for before Brentford, Nice, Angers, Gazélec Ajaccio and Châteauroux, it's no surprise that he may have found playing at the highest level quite a challenge.

That is a really nice touch Rasta, I like to hear that.
Benrahma is great fun to watch, has contributed really well to open up defenses resulting in goals, a few assists. His play indicates there will be more to come and he is definitely emerging as a first team selection out of our midfield attackers.

I am not sure what more you need to show he is a good signing.

Only alternative would be to let him go and all those players that are not doing as well as he is and start building the attacking midfield from scratch, which lets face it is completely unrealistic and a bit cloud coo-coo land.

Doesn't do the free meals for kids but did give his loyalty bonus to Brentford staff, does that count?

Manuel - blimey son, not at all

But it's a bit boring when there's a poster criticising the same player and having a dig on threads that aren't even about him.

Especially on the match thread when we're playing really wrll and mentions every time said player makes a mistake but gives him no credit for the good stuff he does.

Besides you've spent 20 years on here criticising other posters and flounced off several times.. Moan and bitch about the forum.. Its 100% definitely not for you

But then again you lack self awareness because every criticism you level at others is exactly how you post ;-)

fraser - Joking aside, it clearly bothers you if players you like dare to get criticised on here. So bearing it mind this is a FORUM where folk have different opinions to air, maybe this place is not for you (after 20 years)
